Dear ACI The Netherlands members,
We would like to bring to your attention the FX Global Code of Conduct. The complete Code and adherence mechanisms will be released by the BIS in May 2017. The Code is an initiative that aims to provide the integrity and effective functioning of foreign exchange markets and is intended to apply to all aspects of the wholesale foreign exchange market (buy-side, sell-side, intermediaries and regulators). Market participants worldwide have supported and contributed to the development of the Code. It consists of 6 leading principles (ethics, governance, execution, information sharing, risk management & compliance, and confirmation & settlement) and 55 underlying principles. Please see the attached ACI Newsletter and the links below for additional information.

ACIFMA will be asking all the National Associations and their members to commit to the Code, and encourages all participants to utilize the various facilities ACIFMA will be presenting regarding the FX Global Code. More information on these facilities will follow.
Lastly, we would like to bring to your attention that ACI UK will be hosting a webinar panel discussion on the FX Global Code in association with FXWeek on April 5th. More information on the contents and how to join the webinar can be found on the website of ACI UK (http://aci-uk.com/april-5-join-acifxweek-interactive-qa-on-new-fx-global-code/).
Best regards,
